TAKING SHAPE

This series began as small, playful tissue paper studies exploring colour, shape, and translucency. Working intuitively, I layered fragments and allowed the compositions to emerge through experimentation. Each study was then projected onto raw canvas and developed with acrylic and medium, building opacity and transparency to echo the luminous quality of tissue paper. The resulting paintings balance spontaneity and intention, preserving a sense of play within a refined final form.
